Sushi & Boyfriend Jeans

Today I was loving the beautiful weather and sunshine while my mom and I enjoyed some sushi, and did some shopping!  Our favorite!!  I wore my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans, and paired it with my favorite trench coat…

Hi everyone, I hope you’re having a wonderful Monday morning!  I have a huge exam in about an hour, and a pretty hectic week ahead of me!  On the up side, the weather has been absolutely beautiful!  It’s been in the 80s here all weekend, and I’m finally getting tan (well I’m a bit burnt right now, but it’ll tan over)!  Even though it’s a little too hot for this outfit right now, I still wanted to share it with you all because I literally love it!

To be honest I feel like we kind of skipped spring weather in Michigan!  Last week it was freezing and snowing, and now it’s 80!  I wore this outfit on a mild day, it was in the 60s so it was the perfect day for layering!  My mom visited me at GVSU and we went to Maru, our favorite sushi place!  We also headed over to Breton Village which is our favorite place to shop, and we spent the day together!  I layered my striped top from Gap under my trench coat, and I paired it with my favorite boyfriend jeans and a pair of ankle boots!  I actually had to buy some sandals at one of the shops though, because we did a lot of walking and my feet were absolutely killing me!  I linked a similar pair of ankle boots instead of the ones I have, because they are honestly so uncomfortable and I wanted to spare you the pain!

I hope you all have a wonderful week, I’m going to stay as positive as I can through two huge research papers, exams, two final projects, four finals, and endless hours of studying!  I can’t believe my sophomore year of college is finished in nine days, it goes by so fast!!  Stay in touch for some great posts coming up, I have some super cute spring/summer outfits to share with you all!

xo, Tessa
