There’s nothing better than when the leaves change, the air gets crisp, and eventually the first snowfall. I love fall and winter, and October-January is generally my favorite time of the entire year. I love breaking out my sweaters, boots, and coats, and the sight of the first red cup at Starbucks is unbelievably exciting! In the midst of my favorite time of the year, I wanted to write to all of you and share some of my favorite things.
I’ve been in the process of changing my lifestyle, and I’ve already noticed such a difference. I’ve been making it my personal goal to start each day with a positive mindset, and to get more involved in things that make me feel good. I’m detoxifying my life, as well as enhancing the positive things that I’m interested in. One thing that has truly changed my life is hot yoga, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to de-stress and to find peace within themselves.
I’m someone who loves to plan out everything, and I love to write things down. Recently I’ve started writing in my journal again, and my goal is to write down three positive things about each day. I also find comfort and joy through quotes, and this one is one of my favorites. I actually painted this on canvas, and I absolutely love it! Writing things down, whether in a journal or planner (or both like I do) is a great way to express your thoughts. I love to light a candle, turn on my Himalayan Salt Rock lamp, and either plan in my Lilly planner or my Erin Condren, or write in my journal. Of course with a hot mug of tea!
This is a bit of a different blog post for me, however I like this style a lot. I missed blogging more than I realized, and my resolution for the rest of this year (and 2016) is to focus a lot more on it! (We can start making resolutions, right)? 🙂 Thank you all for sticking with me, and I can’t wait to start creating more content again!
