Good morning everyone, happy Friday! I’m heading off to Toronto this morning, and I wanted to make sure I could get a post up for you all before I left! This post is in collaboration with one of my best friends and fellow blogger Alyssa (find her at Somewhere Between Vogue & Van Gogh)! Her blog is literally amazing, and I’m completely obsessed with reading it! I featured her in my Let’s Explore: Downtown Adventures post, and I’m sure you’ll be seeing her more in future posts!
We decided to try a new coffee shop, and I’m so happy we did! I had heard a lot of great things about Sparrows in East Grand Rapids, I can honestly say that it’s by far one of my favorite coffee shops I’ve visited. The inside is very rustic and cozy, and I feel incredibly inspired being in there. The walls were decorated with uplifting quotes and artwork, and the magazines were a much deeper read than typical tabloids. I purchased the Ambrosia magazine which I was drawn to as soon as I walked in! Not only was the atmosphere perfect, but the soy vanilla latte was outstanding!
Also, I wanted to mention that these pictures are some of my absolute favorites that I’ve ever taken! I’ve been trying to improve my photography skills, especially since I take so many pictures for my blog, and I’m just in love with these! Alyssa took a few of these pictures as well, and especially love the last picture I featured in this post. My nail polish is Essie Cascade Cool (in case your wondering!), and it’s the perfect pink for spring and summer! Plus I painted my nails days ago and they haven’t chipped at all!
Well, I’m off on my weekend trip to Toronto with my love! Hopefully I can stop by a local coffee shop (or a few!) while I’m there, and I’m hoping to take some awesome pictures for future posts! I’ll talk to you all on Monday, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
