Hi everyone, happy Friday!!  I hope you all had a wonderful week, and are ready for a beautiful, warm weekend!

Today I’m kicking off my second brand new series: “Friday Favorite & Review”!  I’m so excited to share this series with you, because I’m going to be talking about everything from my personal favorites to popular favorites of the moment!  The favorites will range from a high to low price range, with literally anything you could imagine!  I think this series is going to be really fun, as well as informative, and I’m so excited to share it with you all!

For the first “Friday Favorite & Review” post, we’re going to be talking about the new Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits!  These are incredibly popular right now, and they can also be difficult to get ahold of!  I purchased two matte lip kits, Koko K and Candy K, each priced at $29 USD!  I have very fair skin, so I figured these two would be the most complimentary to my personal skin tone!

THE PRODUCT

Both of the lip kits came with a matte liquid lipstick, as well as a pencil liner corresponding with the color of the lipstick.  Both Koko K and Candy K are said to be long wearing as well as comfortable without leaving the lips feeling dry.  Koko K is described as a pale, pinky nude while Candy K is described as a soft, warm nude.  Both Koko K and Candy K have a very sweet scent, so if you’re someone who is sensitive to smell then keep that in mind!

MY REVIEW

After wearing the liquid lipsticks, I have a pretty solid review!  The pencil liner is by far one of the creamiest liners I’ve ever used, and it is very comfortable to wear.  The liquid lipstick is also very comfortable, and feels really nice on the lips!  It’s not overly drying, and the color payoff is amazing!  It mattifies right away, and you will definitely see opaque color without layering on the lipstick!  I will say, even though these two shades are the lightest/most pink in the collection, I still find them pretty dark for my skin tone.  However the color is said to change based on the pigment of your lips as well as your skin tone!  Having fair skin, the color pay off on me is much different than on someone with a darker complexion!  Also, make sure you’re using an oil-based makeup remover to take this product off!  I used coconut oil to remove the lipstick from my lips as well as from the back of my hand and arm (from the swatches), and it came off right away!

WORTH IT?

Absolutely!  Some people may not be fond of the price, but remember you’re getting two really nice products for $29 USD!  That’s $14.50 for a lip liner, and $14.50 for a matte liquid lipstick!  Yes there are other options that do the same thing or are a similar color for less money, but I believe this product is completely worth it!  Plus there are a ton of different color options, so definitely check those out to find your perfect shade!

I hope you all enjoyed my first “Friday Favorite & Review”, and I cannot wait to share more with you!  This series is in correspondence with my “Fitness Friday” series, so you can expect a post like this or a fitness post from me every single Friday!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I’ll talk to you soon!

xo, Tessa
