DIY Starbucks Pink Drink! Dairy-Free, Low Calorie, No Added Sugar!

IMG_7070

From the moment I tried the Pink Drink from Starbucks, I was obsessed!  So naturally, I decided to recreate/DIY the drink!  Not to mention, my recipe is vegan, low calorie, and there is no added sugar!  It’s SO easy to make, and it’s a healthier option that is just as delicious as the Starbucks version (if not more)!!

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Coconut Milk
  • Strawberries
  • Acai Tea
  • Starbucks Cup (or cup of your choice); I used a grande (16 ounce) Starbucks cup!
  • Ice
  • Blender/Food Processor (I used a Magic Bullet)
  • Cutting Board/Knife
  • 1/4 Cup Boiling Water

STEP ONE

Take the Acai Tea and steep it in 1/4 cup of boiling water!  After a few minutes, remove the tea bag and place the tea in the fridge to cool!

STEP TWO

While the tea is cooling, take the strawberries and remove the stem!  Next, put the strawberries into your blender/food processor, and blend until completely smooth!  You’ll want to end up with 1/4 cup worth of blended strawberries!  The reason I didn’t include an exact number of strawberries is because they come in all sizes, so depending on the size of your strawberries you may need more or less!

STEP THREE

Fill your cup with ice, and pour in the 1/4 cup of acai tea once it’s cooled!  You can also pour in only a 1/8 cup if you want less of the acai flavor and more of the strawberry flavor!  Then add in your 1/4 cup of blended strawberries!

STEP FOUR

Fill up the rest of the cup with coconut milk, stir well, and add some sliced strawberries to the top!!

Enjoy!
