Avocado Toast Three Ways//Fitness Friday

There’s nothing better than fresh avocado toast!!  Check out three of my favorite recipes!

(Please don’t mind this, my Sriracha exploded and this was the aftermath… I attempted cute, drizzled lines but clearly that didn’t work out!)

Ingredients

Toast One:

  • 1 slice bread of your choice, toasted*
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1-2 large strawberry, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon feta cheese*
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, drizzled

Toast Two:

  • 1 slice bread of your choice, toasted*
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1-2 slices fresh cheddar cheese, melted*
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

Toast Three:

  • 1 slice bread of your choice, toasted*
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1 egg, cooked to your liking
  • Sriracha (to your liking), drizzled
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

*Since I’m intolerant to gluten and dairy, I substituted some of the ingredients!  I like to use gluten free bread, and I either use a cheese substitute or I skip the cheese all together!  I wanted to use three, unique recipes and show that they can be made alternatively to fit any lifestyle!

Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed a healthy recipe post from me! It’s been a while since I’ve done one, and I wanted to include it in Fitness Friday because avocado toast is a perfect pre and post workout snack!  It’s also a really healthy, delicious option for both breakfast and lunch!  I’m not going to lie, I’m using this Fitness Friday as some motivation because I’ve been slacking lately with my workouts!  The weather has been unbelievably hot and muggy, and I’ve been pretty lazy!  I’m planning on getting back on track this weekend, and starting my new workout plan on Monday!  I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a fabulous weekend, I’ll talk to you very soon!
